Protect Timigtac

A proposal has been made to dump untested (potentially contaminated) soil in the former quarry site between Calera Creek and the Pacific Ocean. Once filled in, this land is targeted for development as a luxury hotel. To learn more about the plan, read the Pacifica Planning Department’s proposal and environmental impact report, or watch the video below.

This land is the site of a Ramaytush village, ancestral home of Cata Gomes and her family. It is currently home to endangered San Francisco garter snakes and threatened species red legged frogs. It is a site of critical importance, both culturally and environmentally.

We need your help!
